No 1 A Roundhouse Millie. purchased by the railway in 2006. It is in the process of being transformed. A new cab has been made awaiting painting. The loco will represent the only sharp-garrett loco ever made before sharp-garrett seaced trade and would have been the railways 'standard' loco. Thus no more were ever made and gives me the excuse for having a freelance loco! |

No 2 A Regner Vincent purchased by the railway in 2007. This is next on the transformation list, it will reciece a full cab and requires the boiler and cab to be switched round so the fly wheel ends up next to the cab. I hope to make it look far more 'British' and more like the aveling and porter loco 'Sirapite' being restored in Leiston currently. | ![]() |
No 3 An ex BGLR Accucraft Excelsior purchased second hand by the railway in 2008. This loco is currently last on the overhaul list. The timing goes out rather regulaly and I have recently had to replace a cylinder gaskeet with one made of brown parsel paper. It is a slow powerful worker when in full running order but has a habit of knocking all the telegraph poles and lineside detail as it is a very wide loco that I had not bargained for when I built the railway! | ![]() |
