Locos

No 1
River Deben- 0-4-0 side tank.

A Roundhouse Millie. purchased by the railway in 2006. It is in the process of being transformed. A new cab has been made awaiting painting. The loco will represent the only Beyer-Garrett loco ever made before Beyer Garrett ceased trade and would have been the railways 'standard' loco. Thus no more were ever made and gives me the excuse for having a freelance loco!

No 2
River Alde - 0-4-0 geared well tank.

The locomotive represents the locomotive built by Garrett of Leiston. It is a little like the locomotive Sirapite.

A Regner Vincent purchased by the railway in 2007. This is a very slow and powerful addition to the fleet. It is currently being Britishified with a new coat of DVLR dark blue paint, lining, a tender and a new traction engine style canopy.

No 3
River Butley- 0-4-2 saddle tank.

An ex BGLR Accucraft Excelsior purchased second hand by the railway in 2008. This loco is currently last on the overhaul list. The timing goes out rather regularly and I have recently had to replace a cylinder gasket with one made of brown parcel paper. It is a slow powerful worker when in full running order but has a habit of knocking all the telegraph poles and line side detail as it is a very wide loco that I had not bargained for when I built the railway!
